Helpful Will Tonsil Stones Go Away On Their Own Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are very little items of calcareous matter that form in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In some people little, solid, calcareous lumps, which are usually white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also known as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, named tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the area of the tonsils for a period of time, until they are dislodged finally. They're usually accompanied by a bad smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths goes through a physical sensation of something being stuck in the rear part of the throat.

Standard tactics and practices for the removal of tonsil stones:

The easiest way to remove them is with the tongue, which unlike other methods, does not provoke the gag reflex.

Other methods also exist. While difficult to perform due to the gag reflex, a quick brushing with a toothbrush may remove surfaced tonsilloliths. Another effective way to remove tonsil stones is by pressing a finger or cotton swab against the bottom of the tonsil and pushing upward. The pressure acts to squeeze out stones. Using an oral analgesic like Chloraseptic can help suppress the gag reflex while cleaning the tonsils or crypts.

A remedy for removing them without stimulating the gag reflex is to simply flex the throat, raise the tongue to the roof of the mouth and swallow, which causes the tonsils to tense up and will sometimes result in the tonsil stone popping out.

Another remedy is to drink carbonated drinks, preferably seltzer water, tonic water or club soda, which have been known to help dislodge tonsil stones. This is more of a gradual remedy which can either cause parts of a tonsil stone to break off, or loosen the tonsil stone completely.

Throat Stones

Since I know what they are and how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel dumb or like I've been duped. All this time, I was thinking I'd some certain illness or something and wasted a small fortune on doctor visits and medications. Very little did I know up until just a month ago.....

I have been overwhelmed by these unpleasant little things for years and up until recently I had no clue what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, encountered some down-right awful sore throats, had dreadful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away and tried all kinds of tricks to eliminate them.

They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a vague answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I had NO IDEA exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to eliminate them was to have my tonsils taken out. Goodness!!

Then he said it was not suggested for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a specific age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all kinds of mouthwash, gargling three times per day and maybe a few days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the most important part. How I realised what they were and how to eliminate them for good in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman by chance, read her info, tried it and now I'm one Cheerful, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not kidding around when I say, the crappy breath, throat irritability, ear aches.....ALL Eliminated! ;-)
