Facts & Educational Will Tonsil Stones Go Away On Their Own Information:
Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are tiny bits of calcareous matter that develop in the crevasses of the tonsils. Read more about it here.
In certain regular people little, hard, calcareous lumps, which are white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, otherwise known as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, called tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the region of the tonsils for some time, until they're dislodged finally. They normally are accompanied by a horrible smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths experiences a physical sensation of something being stuck in the back part of the throat.
General tactics and practices for getting rid of tonsil stones:
One method is to use a stainless long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to push the stone out from below. This technique works easier when the stone is older and harder. You can even use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit over a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent yourself from damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the more compact stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people occasionally think about using everyday things, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a larger finger. This is not suggested because of the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when trying any of the methods in the above list. The tonsils and throat are sensitive, and can be injured or inflamed very easily.
Given that I realize what they are and how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel ridiculous or like I've been duped. All of this time, I figured I'd some certain illness or something and invested a small fortune on doctor visits and prescription medications. Very little did I know up until just a thirty day period ago.....
I've been overwhelmed by these serious little things for years and up until not long ago I had no clue what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, suffered some down-right dangerous sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of tricks to get rid of them.
They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a vague answer about some kind of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't remove squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Remember though that I had no clue what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Help!!
Then he informed me it was not advised for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a specific age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all kinds of mouthwash, gargling three times per day and maybe a few days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It's actually not even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.
Well, skip ahead to the most important part. How I discovered what they were and how to get rid of them for good in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman unintentionally, looked over her info, tried it and now I'm one Content, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not joking when I say, the poo breath, throat irritation, ear aches.....ALL GONE! ;-)
