Basic Why Do Tonsil Stones Hurt Information:
Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are very little bits of calcareous matter that develop in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out more on it here.
In some people very little, solid, calcareous lumps, which are white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, generally known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the region of the tonsils for a period of time, until they're dislodged finally. They normally are accompanied by a foul smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths encounters a physical sensation of something being lodged in the back part of the throat.
General methods and practices for eliminating tonsil stones:
One way is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to push the stone out from underneath. This process works easier if the stone is older and harder. Additionally you can use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe and avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the less massive stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To relieve gagging people oftentimes think about using everyday things, like toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a bigger finger. This is simply not advised because of the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme caution when attempting any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are delicate, and can be harmed or inflamed very easily.
Now that I recognize the things they are and just how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel ridiculous or like I've been duped. All this time, I was thinking I had some serious illness or something like that and invested a small fortune on visits to the doctor and prescription medications. Little did I know up until just a few weeks ago.....
I've been affected by these ugly little things for years and up until just lately I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, suffered some down-right awful sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't leave and tried all kinds of tricks to get rid of them.
They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most unfortunate times you may realise of. My first visit to my doctor to really question him about them got me a hazy answer about some kind of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I really didn't know exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. YIKES!!
Then he informed me it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a certain age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all types of mouthwash, gargling three times each day and maybe a couple of days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.
Well, skip ahead to the most important part. How I realised what they were and how to remove them permanently in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by accident, read her info, tried it and now I'm one Delighted, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding around when I say, the crap breath, throat irritation, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
It IS true that there are completely safe and natural ways to both remove and cure your tonsil stones. Let me show you...
