can a doctor take it out for you the tonsil stones? I heard someone said a doctor took a popsicle thing and put it into their mouth and took it out. I cannot seem to get it out myself. Can a normal doctor do it but only can a throat doctor specificialist do it.

Regular procedures and practices for taking out tonsil stones:

One way is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to press the stone out from below. This technique works easier if the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit over a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe in order to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To relieve gagging people sometimes think about using everyday things, such as toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a much bigger finger. It's not advised because of the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme care when attempting any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very sensitive, and can be injured or agitated quite easily.

Throat Stones

Given that I recognize the things they are and exactly how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel foolish or like I've been duped. All this time, I believed I had some certain illness or something like that and invested a small fortune on visits to the doctor and solutions. Very little did I know up until just a four week period ago.....

I have been seriously affected by these cruddy tiny problems for years and up until not too long ago I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, suffered some down-right nasty sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of items to get rid of them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to really question him about them got me a hazy answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't take care of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I really didn't know what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to eliminate them was to have my tonsils removed. Oh no!!

Then he informed me it was not advised for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a specific age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using loads of mouthwash, gargling three times a day and maybe a few days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip forward to the main part. How I realised what they were and how to get rid of them permanently in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman accidentally, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one HAPPY, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not kidding around when I say, the junk breath, throat discomfort, ear aches.....ALL No longer! ;-)
