can a health care professional take it out for you the tonsil stones? I read somebody said a doctor took a popsicle thing and put it into their mouth and got it out. I cannot seem to get it out by myself. Can a standard doctor do it but only can a throat doctor specificialist do it right.
One solution is to use a metal long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to force the stone out from below. This process works easier when the stone is older and harder. You can also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe in order to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To lessen gagging people oftentimes consider using everyday objects, like toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a larger finger. This is not advisable because of the danger of the short lightweight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when trying any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be injured or inflamed quite easily.
Seeing that I realize what they are and how cheap and straightforward it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel silly or like I've been duped. All this time, I thought I had some severe illness or something and used tons of money on doctor visits and solutions. Very little did I know up until just a calendar month ago.....
I have been plagued by these annoying little things for years and up until recently I had no clue what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, dealt with some down-right dangerous sore throats, had horrible ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of stuff to get rid of them.
They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you may realise of. My first visit to my doctor to really ask him about them got me a hazy answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't eliminate squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I had NO IDEA exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. YIKES!!
Then he explained it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a specific age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling three times each day and maybe a few days I would not see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck so many different things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.
Well, skip forward to the most important part. How I realised what they were and how to remove them once and for all in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady unintentionally, looked over her information, tried it and now I'm one Completely satisfied, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding around when I say, the crappy breath, throat discomfort, ear aches.....ALL Vanished! ;-)
