Facts, General & Interesting White Spots In Throat Pictures Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are little items of calcareous matter that occur in the crevasses of the tonsils. Learn more about it here.

In certain people young and old tiny, hard, calcareous lumps, which you'll find white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, generally known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the region of the tonsils for a period of time, until they're dislodged finally. They're usually accompanied by a nasty smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths suffers from a physical sensation of something being stuck in the back part of the throat.

Removal Information:

One solution is to use a metal long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to force the stone out from below. This process works easier when the stone is older and harder. You can also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe in order to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To lessen gagging people oftentimes consider using everyday objects, like toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a larger finger. This is not advisable because of the danger of the short lightweight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when trying any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be injured or inflamed quite easily.

Tonsil Rocks

Now that I do know what they are and exactly how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel ignorant or like I've been duped. All of this time, I thought I had some certain illness or something and paid tons of money on doctor visits and prescription medications. Little did I know up until just a thirty day period ago.....

I've been affected by these nasty tiny problems for years and up until a short time ago I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, undergone some down-right dangerous sore throats, had dreadful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away for good and tried all kinds of tricks to eliminate them.

They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you could think of. My first visit to my doctor to actually question him about them got me a hazy answer about some sort of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't do away with squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I had no clue just what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to make them go away was to have my tonsils removed. Goodness!!

Then he said it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a specific age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using loads of mouthwash, gargling 3 times a day and maybe a few days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It's not even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip on to the key part. How I found out what they were and how to remove them permanently in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by chance, read her info, tried it and now I'm one Content, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not joking when I say, the crappy breath, throat annoyance, ear aches.....ALL Eliminated! ;-)
