Cough that does not appear to have a cause and won't disappear.
Sore throat or mild ear aches, or a strange pressure in your ears.
You're feeling like some thing is caught at the back of your throat and won't come out.

Facts, General & Interesting White Spots Cancer Information:
A tonsillolith protrudes from the tonsil
Tonsilloliths occur more frequently in adults than in children. Many small tonsil stones do not cause any noticeable symptoms. Even when they are large, some tonsil stones are only discovered accidentally on X-rays or CT scans.
Other symptoms include a metallic taste, throat closing or tightening, coughing fits, and choking.
Larger tonsilloliths may have multiple symptoms, including recurrent halitosis, which frequently accompanies a tonsil infection, sore throat, white debris, a bad taste in the back of the throat, difficulty swallowing, otalgia, and tonsil swelling. A medical study conducted in 2007 found an association between tonsilloliths and bad breath. Among those with bad breath, 75% of the subjects had tonsilloliths while only 6% of subjects with normal halitometry values (normal breath) had tonsilloliths. A foreign body sensation may also exist in the back of throat. The condition may also be an asymptomatic condition, with detection upon palpating a hard intratonsillar or submucosal mass.
Treatment, if required, is usually removal of concretions by curettage; larger lesions may require local excision although these treatments may not help the bad breath issues that are often associated with this condition. Gargling with mouth wash and frequent teeth brushing will sometimes help stop the formation of tonsil stones. It is recommended to check your tonsils at least once a week in order to prevent giant tonsil stones from forming.
A colloquial term for tonsilloliths is "throat oats" or "oats of the throat"
One solution is to use a metal long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to force the stone out from beneath. Using this method works easier if the stone is older and harder. It's also possible to use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit at a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To get relief from gagging people oftentimes consider using everyday items, such as toothpicks, as small tools instead of using a much bigger finger. This is not advised due to the danger of the short lightweight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use guardedness when trying any of the methods in the list above. The tonsils and throat are extremely delicate, and can be hurt or inflamed very easily.
Now that I understand the things they are and just how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel brainless or like I've been duped. All this time, I believed I had some severe illness or something and wasted tons of money on doctor visits and solutions. Little did I know up until just a calendar month ago.....
I've been bothered by these raunchy little things for years and up until recently I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, encountered some down-right horrible sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't disappear completely and tried all kinds of items to eliminate them.
They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to actually question him about them got me a vague answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't clear away squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I had NO IDEA just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Goodness!!
Then he explained it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a specific age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling 3 times each day and maybe a couple of days I might not see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It is not even funny! Well...actually yes it really is funny.
Well, skip ahead to the most crucial part. How I found out what they were and how to remove them once and for all in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman accidentally, read her material, tried it and now I'm one HAPPY, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding when I say, the garbage breath, throat soreness, ear aches.....ALL Vanished! ;-)
I'll show you how I naturally removed and cured my tonsil stones - tonsilloliths. Just put in your name and email and I'll send you the information and link.
