Facts, General & Interesting White Dots On Tonsils Information:
Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are small pieces of calcareous matter that form in the crevasses of the tonsils.
In some people small, hard, calcareous lumps, which are white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also called tonsillar crypts. These lumps, known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the area of the tonsils for a period of time, until they are dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a foul smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths experiences a physical sensation of something being lodged in the rear part of the throat.
Tonsil stones form due to a buildup of dead skin cells along with other non-cellular and cellular debris that get washed down the rear part of the throat from the nasal cavities and sinuses and get lodged in the crypts of the tonsils. Those who are afflicted with postnasal drip usually have tonsil stones since there is a regular flow of sinus drainage and mucus via the tonsils.
Basic approaches and practices for getting rid of tonsil stones:
One method is to use a stainless long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to press the stone out from below. This process works easier if the stone is older and harder. You could use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe in order to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the more compact stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people oftentimes think about using everyday objects, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a much larger finger. This is simply not suggested due to the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use careful attention when trying any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be injured or inflamed quite easily.
Since I understand the things they are and exactly how cheap and straightforward it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel silly or like I've been duped. All this time, I believed I'd some certain illness or something and paid tons of money on doctor visits and prescription medications. Very little did I know up until just a month ago.....
I've been bothered by these terrible tiny problems for years and up until recently I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, suffered some down-right unpleasant sore throats, had dreadful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't leave and tried all kinds of stuff to remove them.
They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you could imagine of. My first visit to my doctor to really question him about them got me a hazy answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I really didn't know just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to eliminate them was to have my tonsils removed. Goodness!!
Then he said it was not advised for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a certain age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all types of mouthwash, gargling 3 times per day and maybe a couple of days I might not see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck so many different things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.
Well, skip on to the main part. How I found out what they were and how to eliminate them for good in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady accidentally, looked over her info, tried it and now I'm one Cheerful, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not joking when I say, the garbage breath, throat aggravation, ear aches.....ALL Eliminated! ;-)
I'll show you how I naturally removed and cured my tonsil stones - tonsilloliths. Just put in your name and email and I'll send you the information and link.
