General White Dots On Tonsils Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are very little items of calcareous matter that occur in the crevasses of the tonsils. Read more about it here.

In certain folks tiny, hard, calcareous lumps, which are usually white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, generally known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the region of the tonsils for some time, until they're dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a horrible smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths encounters a physical sensation of something being stuck in the rear part of the throat.

Standard techniques and practices for removing tonsil stones:

One way is to use a stainless long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to press the stone out from beneath. This method works easier when the stone is older and harder. It's also possible to use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of gathered debris may also help (using an adjustable unit over a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent yourself from damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To lessen gagging people oftentimes consider using everyday objects, such as toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much bigger finger. This is simply not advised because of the danger of the short lightweight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when attempting any of the methods as listed above. The tonsils and throat are delicate, and can be damaged or agitated quite easily.

Tonsil Debri

Now that I do know what they are and how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel moronic or like I've been duped. All this time, I believed I'd some certain illness or something and expended tons of money on visits to the doctor and solutions. Little did I know up until just a calendar month ago.....

I have been bothered by these awful little things for years and up until just lately I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the physician, undergone some down-right awful sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away for good and tried all kinds of things to remove them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most unfortunate times you could think of. My first visit to my doctor to really question him about them got me a vague answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't remove squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Bear in mind that I had no clue what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Help!!

Then he said it was not suggested for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a certain age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all kinds of mouthwash, gargling three times a day and maybe a couple of days I might not see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip forward to the main part. How I realised what they were and how to remove them once for all in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by chance, read her material, tried it and now I'm one Contented, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not joking when I say, the crappy breath, throat aggravation, ear aches.....ALL Vanished! ;-)
