Facts, General & Interesting White Balls On Tonsils Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are little items of calcareous matter that form in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In some persons tiny, solid, calcareous lumps, which can be white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also called tonsillar crypts. These lumps, also known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the region of the tonsils for a period of time, until they are dislodged finally. They normally are accompanied by a horrible smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths deals with a physical sensation of something being lodged in the rear part of the throat.

Standard ways and practices for taking out tonsil stones:

One way is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to press the stone out from underneath. This technique works easier if the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit at a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the more compact stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To get relief from gagging people occasionally consider using everyday objects, like toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much bigger finger. This is not suggested because of the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use careful attention when attempting any of the methods in the above list. The tonsils and throat are extremely delicate, and can be injured or inflammed quite easily.

Stones

Seeing that I do know the things they are and how cheap and straightforward it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel silly or like I've been duped. All this time, I figured I'd some severe illness or something like that and paid tons of money on doctor visits and solutions. Little did I know up until just a calendar month ago.....

I have been weighed down by these nasty little things for years and up until recently I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, experienced some down-right dangerous sore throats, had bad ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't disappear and tried all kinds of gadgets to get rid of them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a vague answer about some sort of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't do away with squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I had no clue what it really was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. YIKES!!

Then he explained it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a specific age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling 3 times a day and maybe a few days I might not see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck so many different things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It is not even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the key part. How I realised what they were and how to eliminate them permanently in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman accidentally, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one Cheerful, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding around when I say, the crap breath, throat aggravation, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
