Noteworthy What Do Tonsil Stones Look Like Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are tiny items of calcareous matter that form in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In certain people young and old tiny, hard, calcareous lumps, which are usually white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also known as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, called tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the area of the tonsils for some time, until they are dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a horrible smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths deals with a physical sensation of something being lodged in the rear part of the throat.

Typical ways and practices for getting rid of tonsil stones:

One way is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to press the stone out from underneath. This process works easier when the stone is older and harder. You could use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the more compact stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To get relief from gagging people occasionally consider using everyday items, like toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much larger finger. This is not suggested because of the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme care when attempting any of the methods in the above list. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be harmed or inflammed quite easily.

Tonsil Stone

Now that I recognize what they are and just how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel moronic or like I've been duped. All of this time, I assumed I'd some severe illness or something and expended a small fortune on visits to the doctor and prescriptions. Very little did I know up until just a 30 days ago.....

I have been plagued by these serious little things for years and up until not too long ago I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, dealt with some down-right horrible sore throats, had horrible ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of gadgets to eliminate them.

They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most unfortunate times you may realise of. My first trip to my doctor to really question him about them got me a hazy answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't eliminate squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I really didn't know what it really was. Finally he told me that the only method to make them go away was to have my tonsils taken out. Help!!

Then he told me it was not advised for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a particular age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all types of mouthwash, gargling 3 times each day and maybe a couple of days I would not see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It isn't even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.

Well, skip on to the most crucial part. How I realised what they were and how to get rid of them for ever in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman by chance, read her info, tried it and now I'm one HAPPY, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding when I say, the poo breath, throat irritability, ear aches.....ALL Vanished! ;-)
