Facts & Educational What Causes White Spots On Throat Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are tiny pieces of calcareous matter that develop in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In certain persons very little, solid, calcareous lumps, which you'll find white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, called tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of remaining lodged in the area of the tonsils for a period of time, until they are dislodged finally. They're usually accompanied by a potent smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths suffers from a physical sensation of something being stuck in the back part of the throat.

Normal tactics and practices for cleaning out tonsil stones:

One way is to use a stainless long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to push the stone out from beneath. Using this method works easier if the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit at a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the smaller sized stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people sometimes think about using everyday things, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a bigger finger. This isn't advised because of the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use guardedness when attempting any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are extremely delicate, and can be harmed or inflamed very easily.

Tonsil Rocks

Since I realize what they are and exactly how cheap and easy it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel mindless or like I've been duped. All this time, I assumed I had some severe illness or something like that and wasted a small fortune on doctor visits and solutions. Very little did I know up until just a thirty day period ago.....

I have been affected by these ugly tiny problems for years and up until recently I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, suffered some down-right nasty sore throats, had awful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of junk to remove them.

They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you could imagine of. My first trip to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a vague answer about some sort of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't remove squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Bear in mind that I really didn't know exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. YIKES!!

Then he said it was not suggested for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a specific age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling 3 times a day and maybe a couple of days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It's not even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.

Well, skip on to the key part. How I found out what they were and how to eliminate them forever in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by chance, read her information, tried it and now I'm one Completely satisfied, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not joking when I say, the stool breath, throat aggravation, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
