Facts, General & Interesting Tonsilloliths Texture Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are tiny pieces of calcareous matter that build in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In certain regular people little, hard, calcareous lumps, which are white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the region of the tonsils for a period of time, until they are dislodged finally. They're usually accompanied by a foul smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths encounters an actual sensation of something being stuck in the back part of the throat.

Everyday solutions and practices for extracting tonsil stones:

One method is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to push the stone out from below. This technique works easier if the stone is older and harder. You could use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe in order to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the smaller stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To lessen gagging people often consider using everyday objects, like toothpicks, as small tools instead of using a much larger finger. This is simply not recommended due to the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme caution when trying any of the methods as listed above. The tonsils and throat are sensitive, and can be injured or agitated quite easily.

Tonsil Debri

Since I am aware what they are and just how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel foolish or like I've been duped. All this time, I figured I had some serious illness or something like that and expended a small fortune on doctor visits and medications. Little did I know up until just a 30 days ago.....

I have been seriously affected by these horrible tiny problems for years and up until not long ago I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, experienced some down-right distressing sore throats, had horrible ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't leave and tried all kinds of items to eliminate them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you may realise of. My first visit to my doctor to really question him about them got me a vague answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't remove squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I had no clue exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Goodness!!

Then he said it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a certain age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling three times each day and maybe a few days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It's not even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip on to the key part. How I discovered what they were and how to eliminate them for good in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little woman accidentally, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one Pleased, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not joking when I say, the crap breath, throat discomfort, ear aches.....ALL Eliminated! ;-)
