  • Coughing which doesn't seem to have a cause and won't go away completely.

  • A sore throat or moderate ear aches, or a unusual pressure in your ears.

Educational Tonsilloliths Texture Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are very little items of calcareous matter that occur in the crevasses of the tonsils. Read more about it here.

In certain folks tiny, hard, calcareous lumps, which are usually white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, generally known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the region of the tonsils for some time, until they're dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a horrible smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths encounters a physical sensation of something being stuck in the rear part of the throat.

Commonly used ways and practices for taking out tonsil stones:

One method is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to push the stone out from below. This process works easier when the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of built up debris may also help (using an adjustable unit at a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent yourself from damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the less massive stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To get relief from gagging people occasionally consider using everyday things, like toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a much bigger finger. This isn't suggested because of the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use guardedness when attempting any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very sensitive, and can be damaged or agitated quite easily.

Tonsil Stones

Since I do know the things they are and how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel ignorant or like I've been duped. All this time, I assumed I had some serious illness or something and invested a small fortune on visits to the doctor and prescription medications. Little did I know up until just a few weeks ago.....

I've been bothered by these serious tiny problems for years and up until just lately I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, dealt with some down-right dangerous sore throats, had horrible ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of junk to get rid of them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you could think of. My first visit to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a vague answer about some kind of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't do away with squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Bear in mind that I had NO IDEA just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Oh no!!

Then he informed me it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a particular age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling 3 times per day and maybe a couple of days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It's actually not even funny! Well...actually yes it really is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the most crucial part. How I found out what they were and how to eliminate them once for all in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by chance, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one Satisfied, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding when I say, the crappy breath, throat irritability, ear aches.....ALL Vanished! ;-)
