General Tonsilloliths Removal By Suction Information:
A tonsillolith protrudes from the tonsil
Tonsilloliths occur more frequently in adults than in children. Many small tonsil stones do not cause any noticeable symptoms. Even when they are large, some tonsil stones are only discovered accidentally on X-rays or CT scans.
Other symptoms include a metallic taste, throat closing or tightening, coughing fits, and choking.
Larger tonsilloliths may have multiple symptoms, including recurrent halitosis, which frequently accompanies a tonsil infection, sore throat, white debris, a bad taste in the back of the throat, difficulty swallowing, otalgia, and tonsil swelling. A medical study conducted in 2007 found an association between tonsilloliths and bad breath. Among those with bad breath, 75% of the subjects had tonsilloliths while only 6% of subjects with normal halitometry values (normal breath) had tonsilloliths. A foreign body sensation may also exist in the back of throat. The condition may also be an asymptomatic condition, with detection upon palpating a hard intratonsillar or submucosal mass.
Treatment, if required, is usually removal of concretions by curettage; larger lesions may require local excision although these treatments may not help the bad breath issues that are often associated with this condition. Gargling with mouth wash and frequent teeth brushing will sometimes help stop the formation of tonsil stones. It is recommended to check your tonsils at least once a week in order to prevent giant tonsil stones from forming.
A colloquial term for tonsilloliths is "throat oats" or "oats of the throat"
Well known tactics and practices for cleaning out tonsil stones:
Gargle about three times a day using warm salt water. Mix one teaspoon of salt to one pint of water, and use ¼ cup of this water each time you gargle.
-You could also use Alkalol as a gargle. It is basically a saline solution that is alkaline and includes a mixture of menthol, eucalyptol, camphor and thymol, along with the oils of cinnamon, pine, spearmint, and wintergreen.
-There are also water-jet devices that can be used to hose down the tonsils. Compared to gargling, this is a more aggressive method for getting rid of tonsilloliths.
-Some physicians also prescribe an antibiotics course that can last for 3-4 weeks, with the aim of settling down the tonsils, although it is not a particularly effective cure in the long term.
Since I understand the things they are and exactly how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel dumb or like I've been duped. All this time, I believed I had some serious illness or something and spent tons of money on visits to the doctor and solutions. Very little did I know up until just a 30 days ago.....
I have been affected by these nasty little things for years and up until just lately I had no clue what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, undergone some down-right terrible sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't leave and tried all kinds of tricks to eliminate them.
They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you could imagine of. My first trip to my doctor to really ask him about them got me a vague answer about some kind of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I really didn't know just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to eliminate them was to have my tonsils taken out. YIKES!!
Then he explained it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a particular age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all types of mouthwash, gargling 3 times per day and maybe a couple of days I would not see them but, VOILA...they always returned. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It isn't really even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.
Well, skip ahead to the key part. How I realised what they were and how to eliminate them for ever in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by accident, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one HAPPY, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not joking when I say, the crappy breath, throat annoyance, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
