can a health care professional take it out for you the tonsil stones? I overheard someone said a doctor took a popsicle thing and put it into their mouth and took it out. I cannot seem to get it out myself. Can a normal doctor do it but only can a throat doctor specificialist do it right.
General means and practices for getting rid of tonsil stones:
One method is to use a metal long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to press the stone out from below. Using this method works easier when the stone is older and harder. You could use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of gathered debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on the low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe and avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the smaller stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people sometimes consider using everyday things, such as toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a bigger finger. This is simply not recommended due to the danger of the short light-weight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when trying any of the methods listed above. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be injured or agitated very easily.
Now that I am aware the things they are and exactly how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel dumb or like I've been duped. All this time, I assumed I'd some severe illness or something like that and invested a small fortune on doctor visits and prescriptions. Little did I know up until just a four week period ago.....
I've been overwhelmed by these nasty little things for years and up until not long ago I had no clue what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, suffered some down-right awful sore throats, had painful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away completely and tried all kinds of items to get rid of them.
They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you could think of. My first trip to my doctor to really ask him about them got me a vague answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.
Bear in mind that I had NO IDEA what it really was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. Goodness!!
Then he said it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils taken out after they reach a particular age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!
So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling three times each day and maybe a couple of days I might not see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It is not even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.
Well, skip on to the most crucial part. How I realised what they were and how to remove them once and for all in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady accidentally, looked over her material, tried it and now I'm one Completely happy, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not kidding around when I say, the junk breath, throat discomfort, ear aches.....ALL No longer! ;-)
