Facts, General & Interesting Throat White Spots Pictures Information:
Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are tiny pieces of calcareous matter that occur in the crevasses of the tonsils. Read more about it here.
In certain women and men small, solid, calcareous lumps, which you'll find white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also called tonsillar crypts. These lumps, named tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the region of the tonsils for some time, until they're dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a foul smell emanating from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths encounters an actual sensation of something being stuck in the back part of the throat.
General means and practices for clearing away tonsil stones:
One way is to use a stainless long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to push the stone out from beneath. This process works easier if the stone is older and harder. You can also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the less massive stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people at times think about using everyday things, such as toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much bigger finger. This is simply not encouraged due to the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use guardedness when trying any of the methods in the list above. The tonsils and throat are very sensitive, and can be hurt or irritated very easily.
I've been plagued by these nasty little things for years and up until recently I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, suffered some down-right nasty sore throats, had bad ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away and tried all kinds of stuff to get rid of them. I've gone thru more aggrevation trying to remove them than I care to talk about! I actually even gave myslef a NASTY throat infection one time because I got so mad, I tried digging them out with my toothbrush. All that did was cut and scrape my tonsils all up. Bacteria got in the cuts and I had to end up being put on a 2 week course of heavy antibiotics!
I'll show you how I naturally removed and cured my tonsil stones - tonsilloliths. Just put in your name and email and I'll send you the information and link.
