Educational Does Everyone Get Tonsil Stones Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are small bits of calcareous matter that develop in the crevasses of the tonsils. Find out about it here.

In certain people small, hard, calcareous lumps, which can be white in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also known as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, named tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the area of the tonsils for some time, until they are dislodged finally. They are usually accompanied by a foul smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person suffering from tonsilloliths deals with a physical sensation of something being lodged in the rear part of the throat.

Commonly used means and practices for taking out tonsil stones:

One method is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to press the stone out from below. This method works easier if the stone is older and harder. You can also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of gathered debris may also help (using an adjustable unit over a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to prevent damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the more compact stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To relieve gagging people at times think about using everyday objects, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather than using a larger finger. This is simply not suggested due to the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme care when trying any of the methods in the above list. The tonsils and throat are very delicate, and can be harmed or agitated quite easily.

Tonsil Balls

Since I am aware the things they are and just how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel stupid or like I've been duped. All of this time, I believed I had some serious illness or something like that and put in a small fortune on doctor visits and medications. Little did I know up until just a month ago.....

I've been bothered by these awful little things for years and up until not long ago I had NO IDEA what the heck they were. I've been to the medical doctor, undergone some down-right awful sore throats, had bad ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away and tried all kinds of gadgets to get rid of them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most unfortunate times you may realise of. My first visit to my doctor to really ask him about them got me a hazy answer about some form of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't get rid of squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Remember though that I had no clue exactly what it was. Finally he told me that the only way to get rid of them was to have my tonsils taken out. Goodness!!

Then he said it was not suggested for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a particular age not to mention just how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all types of mouthwash, gargling 3 times per day and maybe a few days I would not see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig them out, It's actually not even funny! Well...actually yes it truly is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the most crucial part. How I discovered what they were and how to eliminate them permanently in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by accident, read her info, tried it and now I'm one Pleased, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not kidding when I say, the stool breath, throat discomfort, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
