I had this about 9 times in the last year. I actually kept count of it b/c nothing bothers me more than this. As with anxiety, i am not sure but every single time i had this problem, i gargled it out each time. Not once have i swallowed it. So I am 100 percent sure i have something in my throat. 1 day ago, i gargled a small piece out but right now i still feel it.Most likely i gargled the smaller piece out. A few hours ago, i gargled an extremely small piece out. Right now i feel it still stuck in my throat.

Normal approaches and practices for cleaning out tonsil stones:

One solution is to use a metal long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would have to press the stone out from below. This technique works easier when the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The use of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of accumulated debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe and avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are used to suck out the less massive stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To reduce gagging people at times think about using everyday things, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much larger finger. This is simply not encouraged because of the danger of the short lightweight toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use care when attempting any of the methods in the list above. The tonsils and throat are delicate, and can be injured or irritated very easily.

Tonsillolith

Seeing that I recognize what they are and how cheap and straightforward it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel silly or like I've been duped. All this time, I assumed I had some severe illness or something like that and wasted a small fortune on doctor visits and prescription medications. Little did I know up until just a 30 days ago.....

I have been bothered by these serious little things for years and up until not too long ago I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, experienced some down-right distressing sore throats, had dreadful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't go away for good and tried all kinds of things to remove them.

They'd come and go, appear and disappear at all the most awful times you could think of. My first visit to my doctor to actually question him about them got me a vague answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't clear away squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was placed on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Bear in mind that I had no clue just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to get rid of them was to have my tonsils removed. YIKES!!

Then he informed me it was not suggested for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a certain age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all sorts of mouthwash, gargling 3 times each day and maybe a couple of days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety of things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It isn't even funny! Well...actually yes it is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the most important part. How I found out what they were and how to get rid of them for ever in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by chance, read her information, tried it and now I'm one Completely happy, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I am not kidding around when I say, the poo breath, throat irritability, ear aches.....ALL Long gone! ;-)
