Facts & Helpful Are Tonsilloliths Painful Information:

Tonsilloliths, or tonsil stones, are little bits of calcareous matter that occur in the crevasses of the tonsils. Discover more about it here.

In certain regular people tiny, solid, calcareous lumps, which can be white-colored in color, occur in the crevasses of the tonsils, also referred to as tonsillar crypts. These lumps, known as tonsilloliths, or calculus of the tonsil, or tonsil stones, can range in size from tiny little bits to pea sized ones and they have a tendency of staying lodged in the area of the tonsils for some time, until they are dislodged finally. They normally are accompanied by a nasty smell coming from from the tonsils, and a person afflicted with tonsilloliths goes through a physical sensation of something being lodged in the rear part of the throat.

Removal Information:

One method is to use a stainless steel long handled spoon 7.5 inches. You would need to push the stone out from underneath. Using this method works easier if the stone is older and harder. You may also use tweezers to pluck the stone out. The usage of pulsating irrigation to clear out the crypts of gathered debris may also help (using an adjustable unit on a low pressure setting or a needleless Monoject syringe to avoid damaging tissue.) Alternately medicine droppers (especially one with a curved tip) are utilized to suck out the smaller stones. Using such a medicine dropper to first irrigate the area with saline which may help to bring the tonsil stone to the surface from which it can then be more easily sucked out with the dropper. To lessen gagging people occasionally consider using everyday objects, for example toothpicks, as small tools rather then using a much larger finger. This isn't suggested due to the danger of the short light toothpick/object being released and breathed into the throat. Use extreme caution when attempting any of the methods in the list above. The tonsils and throat are incredibly delicate, and can be harmed or inflamed quite easily.

Tonsil Stone

Seeing that I realize what they are and how cheap and simple it is to destroy Tonsil Stones, I almost feel ridiculous or like I've been duped. All this time, I thought I had some serious illness or something like that and used a small fortune on visits to the doctor and solutions. Very little did I know up until just a four week period ago.....

I've been affected by these terrible little things for years and up until recently I really didn't know what the heck they were. I've been to the doctor, suffered some down-right nasty sore throats, had awful ear aches, nasty breath that wouldn't vanish entirely and tried all kinds of gadgets to get rid of them.

They would come and go, appear and disappear at all the worst times you could imagine of. My first trip to my doctor to actually ask him about them got me a hazy answer about some type of throat infection and a dose of antibiotics which didn't remove squat! I swear I made 5 different visits and was put on three different prescriptions none of which did a bit of good.

Bear in mind that I had no clue just what it was. Finally he told me that the only method to make them go away was to have my tonsils taken out. YIKES!!

Then he explained it was not recommended for a person to have their tonsils removed after they reach a certain age not to mention how much it would cost. So did I do that? Heck no!

So I started digging them out, using all kinds of mouthwash, gargling 3 times each day and maybe a couple of days I wouldn't see them but, VOILA...they always came back. I've stuck a wide variety things in my mouth to try and dig those things out, It's actually not even funny! Well...actually yes it really is funny.

Well, skip ahead to the most important part. How I realised what they were and how to eliminate them forever in about 3 weeks. I actually found this little lady by accident, read her information, tried it and now I'm one HAPPY, Tonsil Stone free guy now! I'm not joking when I say, the junk breath, throat annoyance, ear aches.....ALL GONE! ;-)
